New Doors Opened

The High Road Academy of Prince George’s County Expands to Better Serve its Students

School for special need studentsThe High Road Academy of Prince George’s County (Lanham) is pleased to announce the completion of its facility renovation and expansion.  The School has expanded its current location at 5100 Philadelphia Way which originally opened in August 2007 to be able to provide better services to its students.

The increase in space has allowed the Elementary/Middle School Program to be relocated to a separate wing aside from the High School Program.  However, despite the move, the Academy will continue to be under the supervision of Ms. Corrine Anyanwu and Ms. Annette Mercer.Non-public special education school

In addition to an enlarged space, the students now have a Library Café, Science Lab and Transition Lab.  This will provide new learning and growing opportunities for the students of the High Road Academy.

The staff and students are all very excited about this new beginning in the school’s history.  We invite to come on down and see it firsthand.  In fact, on November 19, the school will be hosting its Harvest Festival and Open House which will provide an excellent opportunity to tour the facility.
